Darius Norowzian - Travel

Darius comes from a family of filmmakers and photographers and it only takes a moment to sense his innate skill as a director. His stripped down, documentary style of filmmaking and his ability to clearly tell a compelling story allows him to achieve real intimacy with his subjects, placing the viewer right inside the heads of his characters. The results speak for themselves.

After 3 years in a directing collective at RSA, Darius signed to Blink as a solo director. He went on to realise his visual tastes and aesthetics, and has since developed his own documentary style of filmmaking. Visually intriguing whilst narratively compelling. His latest documentary “Born A Believer” is currently touring the festival circuit and has picked up numerous awards.

Most recently, Darius has directed a series of films for Hilton through AMV which explore the effects Hilton have had in communities all around the globe. Since Conrad Hilton bought his first hotel in 1919, the company have restored communities and weary business travellers alike, with some employees' pride leaving them close to tears.
