Toby spent a decade directing over a hundred films for numerous blue-chip brands all around the world. He honed his craft making everything from drama to documentary and winning numerous industry awards in the process before returning to his first love - Horror.
His micro-short FLOOR 9.5 which was produced by FOX Studios for BBDO/MARS, starring the BAFTA winning Georgina Campbell has been cited by AdWeek as part of "one of the most innovative and effective ad campaigns in recent years". It was subsequently awarded a Cannes Lion, a Best of the Best at the Brand Film Festival and made Campaign’s definitive list of ‘scariest ads of all time’.
Toby's debut feature film, CHOOSE OR DIE (Asa Butterfield, Eddie Marsan, Robert Englund) was the number one most-viewed film on NETFLIX all over the world on its week of release and received mention in Variety’s Best Horror Films of the Year.
He still gets scared watching horror movies!
